This used Filter Press, from the manufacturer Rittershaus & Blecher type AEH 1200 has 79 polypropylene plates.
The thickness of the cake is 25 mm, which results in a pressing volume of approximately 2,400 liters. The filtration area for the second hand filter is approximately 200 m2.
The 79 plates are made of polypropylene and have a format of 1200 x 1200 mm. The transport of the plates is automatic and with a closed cycle.
The filter pressure is 15 bar with a minimum closing pressure of 380 and a maximum of 410 bar.
This used Rittershaus & Blecher filter press was built in 1976 but in 2004 and 2006 the hydraulics were modernized, polypropylene plates were fitted as well as the trolleys to transport the plates. This filter press is of the bridge beam type, which means that the plates are hung in the middle and not the sides.
