Used Progressive Cavity Pump / P-1253
The Used Progressive Cavity Pump, with the type designation BN 26, was manufactured by the Seepex company in 1997 in normal steel.
This eccentric screw pump is powered by an 8.8 / 11 kW motor, delivery rate 12 -27 m3/h and the maximum delivery pressure is 8 bar. This used Progressive Cavity Pump was used in cooperation with a chamber filter press in a sewage treatment plant for sludge dewatering.
This pump operates with an operating voltage of 400 V, a frequency range of 50 Hz, a protection class of 55 and DN 120 flanges. The pump has been dismantled and can be viewed in our machine warehouse. Please contact us for an appointment.
The dimensions of the used Progressive Cavity Pump are as follows: L 2.100 mm, W 400 mm, H 550 mm and the weight is approx. 300 kg.
In our Used Pump Overview you can find more different sized pumps. Should you not find a particular pump, please feel free to contact us, we are happy to assist you.
Technical data of the used Progressive Cavity Pump
Used Progressive Cavity Pump
Eccentric screw pump used are used in all industries for continuous promotion of virtually all media. Specifically designed for viscous media as slurries, liquid manure, oil and fats, the eccentric screw pump finds its use.
Functional principle of a used Progressive Cavity Pump
All eccentric screw pumps belong to the group of rotary displacement pumps. The characteristic feature of these pumps is the special design and arrangement of the two conveying elements, the rotor and the stator.
As a result of the different number of rotations of the rotor and the stator, a chamber is formed which opens and closes in a continuous sequence during the rotational movement of the rotor, the material to be conveyed being continuously transported from the suction side to the pressure side.
Due to the result of the geometrical design and the constant contact between the two conveying elements, sealing lines are produced, which provide an absolute seal between the suction side and the pressure side in any position of the eccentric screw, even at a standstill. Due to this closure between the suction side and the pressure side, the pump receives its high absorbency. However, it should be noted that on abrasive media, the wear is very high. This can lead to high operating costs.
