This Spiral conveyor used, has already been used in a sewage treatment plant. It was installed horizontally below a filter press and was used to transport the filter cake. The spiral conveyor was manufactured in 2008 by the company PURATEX Anlagentechnik GmbH type SS D 280 R / 6150. The spiral conveyor has a drive motor with 3 KW and 28 revolutions per minute.
The trough is made of stainless steel and the spiral is made of normal steel. The throughput in sewage sludge is designed to be 1.5 - 2.0 m3/h with a dry matter value of 25%.
The total dimensions are:
- Length 12500mm x 1000mm x 600mm
- The trough has a length of 6150 mm
- Climbing / horizontal 22°
- Trough width 380 mm / 280 mm
- Spiral diameter: 240 mm
