Eccentric screw pump used / P-1250
This eccentric screw pump used was produced by the German manufacturer Seepex in 1999. This sludge pump was used in a wastewater treatment plant, for sludge dewatering. In the meantime the pump has been dismantled and can be inspected in our machine warehouse.
This used eccentric screw pump is driven by a 2.48 KW motor, has a speed between 79 - 295 rpm, a transport capacity of 0,7-4 m3/h and the delivery pressure is 15 bar. The frequency range is 50 / 60 Hz. Motor protection is type 55 and DN 60 flanges.
The dimensions of the eccentric screw pump used, are as follows:
- Length 2000mm
- Width 350mm
- Height 400mm
- and an approximate weight of 150 kg
In our Pump Overview you can find more different sized pumps. Should you not find a particular pump, please feel free to contact us, we are happy to assist you.
Technical data of the eccentric screw pump used

Eccentric screw pump used
Eccentric screw pump used, also called sludge pump are used in all industries for continuous promotion of virtually all media. Specifically designed for viscous media as slurries, liquid manure, oil and fats, the eccentric screw pump finds its use.
Functional principle of a eccentric screw pump used
All eccentric screw pumps belong to the group of rotary displacement pumps. The characteristic feature of these pumps is the special design and arrangement of the two conveying elements, the rotor and the stator.
As a result of the different number of rotations of the rotor and the stator, a chamber is formed which opens and closes in a continuous sequence during the rotational movement of the rotor, the material to be conveyed being continuously transported from the suction side to the pressure side.
Due to the result of the geometrical design and the constant contact between the two conveying elements, sealing lines are produced, which provide an absolute seal between the suction side and the pressure side in any position of the eccentric screw, even at a standstill. Due to this closure between the suction side and the pressure side, the pump receives its high absorbency. However, it should be noted that on abrasive media, the wear is very high. This can lead to high operating costs.
